Another Millionaire student shows excellence in the classroom and the community. Benjamin (Ben) Manetta was named the National Merit Scholarship Winner for the 2023 class. This accomplishment is achieved by students attaining a high score on the PSAT. It is a prestigious award and isn’t taken lightly when a student attains this award. Ben has shown academic promise from a young age, from taking high-level courses in middle school, and collegiate classes in high school.

Not only was Manetta a National Merit Scholarship Winner, but he was also the 2023’s Student of The Year and was honored during the 22nd Annual Education Celebration, hosted by the Williamsport/ Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.

Ben continues to be a great representative of the award and shows this by helping his community through volunteering at his church and being involved in extracurriculars, all while maintaining his grades. Ben Manetta has a bright future ahead, and we wish him luck at Harvard University, with a focus on Biology, next year!
