WAHS students smile at the ConCon conference at Penn College. Winners hold their certificates.
45 WAHS Constitutional Convention participants, representing 13 countries, traveled to Penn College on Friday, Dec. 13, for the largest ConCon Convention in school history! 299 students from 14 area high schools met to debate issues of national significance.
Twenty-one Williamsport students won Superior Delegate awards, and delegates representing Pennsylvania, Alabama, Puerto Rico and Utah won Superior Delegation awards.
Austin Chen received the runner-up award for best overall delegate, and the students representing Alabama (Sophie Cendoma, Robert Leiter, Chloe Pennings and Nate Wiley) won the Best Delegation at the whole conference.
