Winter Formal took place on Friday, Jan. 16, in the WAHS Commons and was organized by SGA. The theme of this year’s formal was “Lights, Camera, Action,” featuring props such as a red carpet and a photo booth.
This dance also called for the crowning of the formal King and Queen, as well as Prince and Princess. The Formal Prince was Michael Vincent, the Formal Princess was Alivia Shadd, the Formal King was Steven Eckman, and the Formal Queen was Kelis Scott.
Overall, the students seemed to have enjoyed the formal. One student, Elliana Hayward, said, “My favorite part of the dance was the photo booth. I really enjoyed how it allowed us to capture memories of the dance.”
