At the beginning of sophomore year, students can choose to join their class executive board. This group is responsible for planning events for their classmates each year, ultimately preparing for their senior year. The group is assigned an advisor during their sophomore year who follows them through senior year.
Fundraising is an important part of sophomore and junior years in preparation for all of the events hosted by the executive board senior year.
The juniors just finished selling Powerpuff shirts. They also made money from the Powderpuff player fees. The group sells apparel and baked goods. Most recently, they sold sweet treats during parent teacher conferences.
“We had a pretty good turnout,” said Lydia Edler . “The pumpkin roll seemed to be a popular item,” she added.
Looking forward to the next holiday season, the executive board will be selling peppermint bark. You can see any Class of 2025 member of Mrs. Moore in room E110.
