Picture Day at WAHS

Senior Natani Wright greets each class at the entrance to the Auxillary gym and hands out the QR cards to students.

Students made their way to the Auxilary Gym today during their English classes for school pictures.  Students in the journalism class organized and supported Albright Studios in photographing all students for the yearbook and school portraits.

Journalism students handed out QR codes to all students as they arrived to expedite the photo preparation process for Albright. They also recorded the names of all absent students in order to set up a picture re-take schedule in November. Senior Talia Mills worked next to the photographer to help get students’ hair and clothing “picture perfect” if needed.

Some students were anxious about posing for their picture.  “I hate getting my picture taken,” said sophomore Asiya Davis.  “I won’t even let my mom take my picture.” So Asiya and some classmates decided to practice for their school pictures by taking some candid photos before heading to the gym for the real thing.
