The Millionaire Cafe will offer an expanded menu this year, and Chef Nasdeo wanted the culinary students to have a chance to practice preparing and serving guests prior to their opening. The students made a little bit of everything on the menu and invited faculty and staff down to sample. The students worked at stations in the kitchen serving each guest. The students prepared a variety of sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, soups, and macaroni and cheese. They also made a variety of sides including fries and coleslaw.
The Millionaire Cafe will officially open the third week of October. “We are going to try adding a delivery service this year, too,” Nasdeo added.
