This year’s Homecoming Dance was hosted in the commons at WAHS on Saturday, Oct. 12. The Executive Board planned the event, with the theme of “Cherry and White.”
Homecoming is an exciting dance that most students look forward to attending to hang out and dance with friends. Dawned in dress clothes of many-colored fabrics, the students entered the commons to enjoy the dance. This year’s dance was decorated with balloons and many ceiling decorations in school colors to welcome students. This year’s tickets were also designed by our Graphic Design students.
The DJ at the homecoming dance played songs like “Starships,” by Niki Minaj, “Gangnam Style” by PSY, and “Hot To Go,” by Chappell Roan. Many students enjoyed the music the DJ played this year.
“It was really hot, like hotter than usual,” said juniors Irina Savage and Sadie Bower. “I liked the decorations more like how they did not cover up the windows,” said Savage. “I also thought the music was better this year,” said Bower.
