Williamsport Area High School recently recognized three students as the “Outstanding Students of the Year.” The three seniors recognized were Michael Harry, Sophia Crews, and Brynn Broaddus.

These students have exemplified Millionaire Pride over the last four years. They are known among their peers as leaders and have demonstrated academic excellence, school spirit, and philanthropy.

The three seniors were honored at the school board meeting on May 9.  They shared a little bit about themselves and their high school career with the school board and community.

Sophia Crews shared what it meant to be one of the students recognized.  “To be an outstanding student doesn’t mean you have to have the best grades, it means to have the best effort. You have to envision your success every day, and continuously try to reach it.”

Brynn Broaddus also shared what it meant to her to be recognized by the school district as an “Outstanding Student.”

“Being an outstanding student is an honor, especially when being recognized by a school district that has provided me with the opportunity to grow and pursue my goals. I am extremely thankful for the award and the chance to be acknowledged alongside the other exceptional recipients.”
